We might call this our “Kingdom of Cornicabra” as this varietal takes on its highest dimension, superior complexity, harmony and persistence.
Cornicabra’s frutiness is marked by leafy vegetable notes; to imagine its intensity think of children anxiously waiting at the schoolroom door to be let out for recess on a rainy day… boisterous aromas of green tomato plant, artichoke skipping along with green asparagus, a touch of distracted arugula, and delicate hints of herbs quietly sitting in the corner.
Once the door is open, out comes a Mediterranean caress, its faint sweetness gives way to bitterness… characteristic of this variety, a sign of premium elaboration, it surrounds you with fresh spring rain, letting in a medium pungency.
