Muscat of Alexandria.

WINEMAKING

In the elaboration of this product, the tradition of its elaboration has been respected to the maximum. It starts with the selection of old Moscatel vines from our vineyards facing east, so that the grapes are impregnated with the sun and with the influence of the Mediterranean sea, these are two fundamental elements for the Muscatel to develop its typicity. The harvest of the grapes is done when they are in their optimum moment of ripeness. We look for over-ripe grapes. The slightly squeezed grapes are taken to square macerators with temperature control. After a low temperature maceration to extract the characteristic aromas of the Moscatel grape, fermentation is prevented by the addition of wine alcohol, leaving all the sugars characteristis of the grape in the obtained mistela.

TASTING NOTES

Colour: Straw yellow colour.

Nose: Is intense and complex with reminiscences to floral aromas such as orange blossom, citrus fruits, honey, dry fruits and confectionary.

Mouth: Well integrated sugars with a fine fruity acidity. Silky and persistent in the mouth.

FOOD PAIRING

Perfect to be enjoyed with aperitifs, foie and blue cheeses. Ideal to consume at the end of a meal with sweets, desserts, cakes or on the rocks. Recommended to be drunk chilled at 7ºC.
